Attorney Janet M. McDonough was born and raised in the Chippewa Valley. She is married with three children. She received her law degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1996. In 1996, she also received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota (inactive status) and Illinois (inactive status). Along with her law practice since 1997, for the last several years, she has enjoyed teaching mock trial to the Chippewa Falls Senior High Students and has participated in Junior Achievement at area’s Catholic High School – McDonell Central High.

Family, dedication to community and her clients are touchstones of her practice.

Attorney Janet M. McDonough is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, Chippewa County Bar and an active participant in the Chippewa County Free Legal Clinic.
